Volunteer Opportunities
KAOS training involves a series of classes and hands-on instruction. It is a labor-intensive process and hosting a KAOS radio show is a time-consuming hobby - ask any of our volunteers! But people love what they do here and some of our volunteers have been here for well over 10 years. If you have the time, and the passion for your music, your issues, or just radio in general, we'd love to have you involved.
Versatility is a definite plus! If an applicant's musical interests are diverse, that person will be much more likely to end up with a radio show than someone who lives and dies for one narrowly-defined genre. KAOS is always looking for Public Affairs programmers, and we are always interested in Breakfast Special (6-9am) hosts. If you're a morning person, who can work within a demanding format, please contact us!
